Explore the region in a private minivan with your personal guide and learn more about history and Bordeaux wines. A driven sightseeing on the famous "Wine Road" will show you some of the most beautiful and prestigious one as Chateau Margaux, Lafite, Latour, Mouton ... Option 1: Need more wine? Upgrade your Tasting (€ 100 pp)

The regular visit & tasting includes usually 2 or 3 wines. For some more fees, some vineyards offer you to upgrade their tasting with either old vintages, vertical tasting or barrel tasting. Choose this option if you want to experience more wines during the visits.


Option 2: Want more visit? Add a third one (€ 39 pp)

Wine cellars

Our tour includes two visits with tastings, which generally give you a good picture of the Medoc wines. However, if you wish to spend more time visiting the Chateaux, it is possible to add a third visit to your day. Choose this option if you want to spend more time in the vineyard.

Duration : 8-9h

Delay : Some Chateaux are very sought after or very exclusive. Your request has to be sent earlier the better.
Don’t hesitate to let us know in your request if you have any preference for specifc wineries but, visit to First Growth (Lafite, Latour, Margaux or Mouton) can not be guaranteed

Objective of this tour : To allow the wine lovers from all over the world to taste Pauillac & Margaux wines and visit some of the Bordeaux most famous top estates.

Note : Visits are not private & only by special arrangement. Chateaux & schedule depend on availabilities. We can only confirm visited properties after your payment and a definitive itinerary will be sent to you before your arrival. Usually a tour with wine tasting takes around 1h/1h30 and they propose 2 wines from the estate. Chateaux & wineries are closed from 12am until 2pm.

The 1855 Classification was requested by Emperor Napoleon III to present the most famous Bordeaux wines at the Paris Universal exhibition. To follow up on the Emperor's request, the Bordeaux brokers ranked the wines in 5 levels according to a chateau's reputation and trading price.


The result was the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855:
